Heartfelt lyrics, a unique voice, and honest songs that resonate are just a few of the magical elements that make Freddie Mojallal aka The Autumn Portrait so endearing. After experiencing a lost love and travelling across Canada, Freddie has been connecting with audiences through his sincere and vulnerable song writing for the better part of 6 years.
The Autumn Portrait’s recent sophomore release Tired Love, a collection of heartfelt folk songs that were all self written, recorded, performed, and produced in his Toronto home. The record deals largely with the agony and melancholy of a true love lost, and subsequently the road to healing and redemption. Freddie would write a song from start to finish, record it, then walk around the streets with his headphones late at night, listening to the songs on repeat (finding this process very therapeutic).
The Autumn Portrait’s live show includes a full band with heart warming vocal harmonies. Building on momentum gained from his previous full length albums The Design is Over and Tired Love, Freddie and his band have toured across Canada several times, with two music videos being featured on CMT Canada, while gaining both commercial and college radio success. Recent live performances include showcases at Canadian Music Week, NXNE, Indie week, and an opening slot for The Trews.
The Autumn Portrait is planning to record a new album this winter and is excited to share the new songs with their dedicated fans.
